Exploring Kenya’s Beauty On Two Wheels

Nairobi, Sunday 21st April 2024: In an exciting collaboration, the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has teamed up with the Kenya Motorsports Federation (KMSF) to introduce international bike rides to Kenya. Their goal? To showcase Kenya’s natural beauty through the exhilarating sport of adventure biking.

KTB’s CEO, June Chepkemei, is leading the charge. “The marketing agency will work closely with relevant partners to enhance off-road tracks and other facilities, ensuring they can handle an influx of adventure-seeking tourists.” Picture riding across savannahs teeming with wildlife, navigating dense forests, conquering rugged terrains, and immersing yourself in local communities—all while soaking in breathtaking views.

KTB has also joined forces with INCHAPE, a premium automotive distributor, and the official dealer for BMW and BMW Motorrad in Kenya, to elevate adventure tourism on two wheels across the country. Inchcape will provide comfortable and reliable Motorcycles for tourists who prefer two-wheeled adventures. This strategic alliance aims to enhance road trips across Kenya’s vast landscapes while maintaining the highest safety standards.

During the event, BMW launched the new R 1300 GS BMW Motorrad which is a product defined by its sleekness, power, performance, luxury, and comfort, making it a preference for many motorcycle enthusiasts, adventure seekers and the biking community.

Anne Wanyeki, Marketing & Customer Experience Manager of Inchape, is equally thrilled about this joint venture. She emphasized that it perfectly aligns with Inchcape’s mission of delivering exceptional motoring experiences. Their expertise in automotive solutions will complement KTB’s efforts in promoting sustainable tourism—protecting wildlife habitats while offering unforgettable experiences for visitors.

This partnership marks a significant step towards diversifying Kenya’s tourism offerings beyond traditional safaris. By integrating motor sports into their portfolio, KTB and Inchcape aim to attract a new demographic of thrill-seeking tourists eager to explore Kenya’s untamed beauty.
