Chef Giuseppe Geraci – Biography
Chef Giuseppe Geraci is a renowned Chef included among the best Italian professionals according
to the famous “Gambero Rosso” guide, the most renowned Italian food and wine magazine.
Originally, from Torregrotta, a small hamlet near Messina (South of Italy) in the wonderful seascape that Sicily offers, he was born in 1989 and started his career as a young chef’s assistant.
He has his first cooking experience at the age of thirteen and since then his love for cooking took flight.
After his studies in Tourism Enterprise and Hotel Management, he decided to open his own restaurant “Modì”, (www.modiristorante.it) which Italy has just recently nominated the 21st best out of 50 restaurants for fine dining.
He is passionate about the territory he lives in, with the beautiful seascape of the region, which inspires him to create unique dishes. His specialties go over the regional culinary culture and beyond traditions, yet he does look for the best local materials for his dishes and refines them with his unique personal character.
