Back in the year 2018, a private developer embarked on a dream journey to put up a Golf course in Embu. The year 2019 brought together the partnership between Embu Golf Country & Resort and Embu Golfers Association which collaboration has now birthed a beautiful golf course for Embu.
The course is located 10 km from Embu CBD along the now busy Embu Kiritiri Road aka ‘Mombasa Highway’. Embu Golf gives a serene environment for a golfing experience. It prides itself as the only golf course within the Upper Eastern region and has attracted membership from the surrounding counties of Kirinyaga, Tharaka Nithi, Meru, and Machakos.
The course sits on a 120-acre piece of land touching the tarmac. It currently has 9 holes with 5 amazing water hazards and beautiful flora and fauna as you play. Further the architectural design is for an 18 Hole course with an all-in-one recreational facility and accommodation.
