Insights, Achievements, And A Bright Future For Kenya’s Tourism Sector

On November 29th, 2024, the Tour Operators Society of Kenya (TOSK) successfully hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Panari Hotel, Nairobi. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation and commitment of its members and affiliates who graced the occasion with enthusiasm and invaluable contributions.

This year’s AGM underscored the collective dedication to TOSK’s mission of championing the growth and excellence of Kenya’s tourism sector. The meeting featured insightful discussions on key strategies and initiatives that aim to elevate the organization and its members. The event also saw significant contributions from esteemed individuals, including Mary Muricho, the Organizing Secretary, who was lauded for her impeccable planning, and Lamek Magaki, Deputy Secretary, whose role as the Master of Ceremonies infused the program with energy and professionalism. Gaurav Bandai, Chairman of Resource Mobilization and Advocacy, was also celebrated for moderating engaging and impactful sessions.

Despite the AGM’s success, time constraints were noted as a limitation to deeper interactions among attendees. In response, TOSK announced an exciting Meet and Greet event slated for early next year. This gathering promises to provide a more relaxed atmosphere for members to network, share ideas, and further strengthen the organization’s community spirit.

As TOSK moves forward, the society remains steadfast in its commitment to implementing the strategies discussed during the AGM and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
