The itinerary

The journey begins in Entebbe, where you’ll board a small bush plane that will fly you over the picturesque southwestern Tuscan-like landscape to a peaceful forest lodge located on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. At Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, you’ll spend three nights in a forest cottage that offers breathtaking views of the Virunga Volcanoes, the rugged Rift Valley, and the steamy forest canopy.
On the second day, you’ll be accompanied by a guide into the pristine jungle to locate a mountain gorilla family and spend an exhilarating hour silently observing their evolutionary life. This is an experience that only a fortunate few have had, and they say it will change your life forever.
You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the rugged rural region on foot, with immersive walks through communities and terraced gardens. The best time to take the offer
The best time to take advantage of this offer is during the dry season, which runs from June to September and is also the peak season. During this time, there is less rain, which means your experience will be less disrupted, and the trails will be less muddy and slippery.
However, if pricing is a major concern, you can opt for the low season of March to May and October to November. During this time, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge offers reduced room prices, and gorilla permits are readily available.
