Thai Select Campaign 2025, Celebrating Authentic Thai Cuisine Across East Africa

The 2025 Thai Select Campaign wrapped up in style with a special appreciation tour across East Africa, honoring restaurants that brought the true taste of Thailand to diners in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Led by Panuwat Jantharajit, Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi, and accompanied by Go Places™ CEO Mansoor Jiwani and Managing Director Nev Jiwani, the tour personally recognized each participating restaurant for its exceptional dedication to showcasing authentic Thai culinary heritage.

Restaurants including Thai Chi at Sarova Stanley, Thai Chi 102, Herbs & Spices at Nairobi Serena Hotel, Bang Bang Thai Kitchen at Village Market, The Aviary Rooftop Cocktail Lounge, Thai Kani in Dar es Salaam, Entebbe Palm Hotel, and Bangkok Thai Cuisine in Kampala received official Thai Select Appreciation Certificates, gift hampers filled with authentic Thai products, cash tokens, and special experience vouchers for diners who shared feedback during the campaign.

Highlighting the cultural significance of the initiative, Panuwat Jantharajit noted, “The Thai Select Campaign is a celebration of Thailand’s culinary heritage and its connection with East Africa.
