Over the past two years, we have expanded our passenger and developed our scheduled route network. Today Skyward Express is a choice carrier serving four emerging key tourist destinations for both business and leisure travelers. These destinations are Nairobi, Eldoret, Lodwar, Mombasa and Lamu. All our planning and execution of our daily departures are carried out from our new state-of-the-art Skyward Express Building situated inside Wilson Airport.
By the efficient utilization of our dedicated passenger’s fleet of Dash 8 Q300s Skyward Express is able to move an average of over 400 passengers daily to all its four destinations – Nairobi, Eldoret, Lodwar, Mombasa and Lamu.
We are targeting to increase the number to 600 passengers daily by close of 2018. Thus, at the wake of increased competition Skyward Express is determined to become the market leader in the region.
We are enhancing our products and services to ensure that we stay ahead of the competition by increasing our frequency to Lamu via Mombasa.
Skyward Express is set to add an additional afternoon flight that connects the islands of Mombasa and Lamu. The coastal routes of Mombasa and Lamu have seen tremendous growth in seat capacity as well as reduced travel time for passengers connecting between the two islands over the past two years thus the need to provide additional flights between the two islands.
