Celebrating Italian Cuisine, Wine, and Culture in Nairobi with the Italian Ambassador to Kenya and a Vibrant Community Gathering
Nairobi, Kenya – On May 6th and 7th, the Village Market’s food court area was alive with the spirit of Italy as the Italian community and invited guests came together to celebrate the 5th edition of the Italian Week Expo. The guest of honour, Italian Ambassador to Kenya H.E Roberto Natali, alongside diplomats and the Italian community living and working in Kenya, enjoyed an exceptional showcase of Italian cuisine, cheese, and wine.
The objective of the event was not only to bring the Italian community together but also to highlight the wide range of Italian foods available in Kenya. Visitors were treated to a sampling of Italian cuisine, cheese, and wine, as well as creative Italian ice cream with unique flavours.
The “Food, Wine, and More! ’23” expo featured an array of exciting activities, including live cooking demonstrations, equipment demonstrations for making Italian coffee, engaging with NGOs that aid Kenyan communities with various needs, and live band entertainment.
The event was a huge success, with visitors raving about the delicious Italian cuisine and the vibrant atmosphere. Go Places Digital was proud to attend the event and share in the experience. We hope to see more events like this in the future, bringing communities together and celebrating the diverse culinary offerings available in Kenya.
