Safari Dreams In 6 Days, Waters, Wildlife & Wonders Of The Mara

6 Days Of Pure Safari Magic, Lakes, Lions & The Legendary Mara

A Breathtaking Kenya Safari Adventure (5 Nights / 6 Days)

What if six days could give you the feeling of six lifetimes?

From gliding past pods of hippos at sunrise to chasing the golden light across vast savannahs, this Kenya safari is a sensory overload in all the best ways. It’s bold. It’s beautiful. It’s bucket-list-worthy. Join us as we take you from Nairobi’s city buzz to Naivasha’s lake breeze, to the pink-hued shores of Nakuru, and finally – into the wild heart of Africa: the Masai Mara.

Day 1: Karibu Kenya! Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to the land of adventure, rhythm, and wildlife!

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), our professional safari team will be waiting with a warm smile (and probably a few Swahili phrases like *Karibu!* – Welcome!). After a comfortable transfer, check in to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the evening at leisure – whether relaxing at the pool, taking in rooftop views, or enjoying a delicious Kenyan dinner. Tomorrow, your safari begins!

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha – Safari Starts with a Splash (Drive Time: \~2.5 hours)

After breakfast, head out for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater jewel nestled in the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, feast your eyes on Kenya’s green highlands, bustling roadside markets, and escarpment views that’ll make your jaw drop. Check in at a peaceful lakeside lodge. After lunch, hop on a one-hour boat safari – glide past hippos, watch fish eagles hunt, and spot giraffes or waterbucks on the shore.

Optional Add-on: Sundowner Boat Cruise

As the sun dips low, enjoy a magical sunset cruise surrounded by grazing wildlife, soft lake winds, and the sounds of the wild. It’s the kind of silence that stays with you.

Day 3: Naivasha to Lake Nakuru – Flamingos, Rhinos & Forest Trails(Drive Time: \~1.5 hours)

Today’s stop: Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya’s famous rhino sanctuary and bird paradise. On your way in, begin your first game drive, scanning for zebras, giraffes, and baboons. After checking into your lodge and enjoying lunch, return to the park for an afternoon safari.

Don’t miss:

  • Baboon Cliff Viewpoint – incredible panoramic views of the lake below, often lined with pink flamingos.
  • Black & White Rhinos – Nakuru is one of the few places where you can spot both species in the wild!
  • Tree-Climbing Lions – Yes, they’re real. And Nakuru is one of their secret hangouts.

Evening at leisure back at the lodge

Day 4: Into the Wild – Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara (Drive Time: \~4 hours)

After breakfast, set out for the Masai Mara – Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destination and home of the legendary Great Migration. Make a brief stop in Narok Town, then continue on to your lodge with a game drive en route. Check in, enjoy lunch, and spend your afternoon relaxing before heading out for your first evening safari. As the sun sets, lions emerge, elephants stroll across the plains, and wildebeest graze in the golden light. This is what you came for.

Day 5: Full Day in the Masai Mara – Nature’s Greatest Show

Today is a full safari immersion. With a packed lunch and your camera ready, head into the Mara’s open savannahs for a full-day game drive.

Expect:

  • Big Cats (Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs)
  • The Big Five
  • Wildebeest, Zebras, Gazelles
  • Epic photos and lifelong memories

Lunch is served picnic-style beneath an acacia tree. Surrounded by sounds of birdsong, distant roars, and rustling grasses — it’s pure magic.

Optional Add-ons:

  • Hot Air Balloon Safari – Float silently over the savannah at dawn, spotting wildlife from above. End with a champagne bush breakfast. ($480 pp)
  • Maasai Village Visit – Dance, learn, and connect with the legendary Maasai warriors. Explore their culture, homes, and traditions. ($40 pp)

Day 6: Mara to Nairobi – One Last Game Drive & Goodbye

Enjoy a final breakfast and one last chance at a morning game drive. Who knows? That elusive leopard might just show up for a photo goodbye. Drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5 hours), with lunch at a local restaurant. Then it’s on to JKIA Airport for your onward flight.
