The second day of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) and East African Regional Tourism Expo (EARTE) recently concluded with an air of anticipation and enthusiasm. Victor Shitakha’s esteemed launch set the tone for an eventful day, heralding the commencement of the Magical Kenya Loyalty Rewards program. This included a 30 percent participation fee discount on KTB led events, exclusive features in the e-newsletter, invitations to special events, priority in familiarization trip choices, and a distinguished certificate of recognition with a recognition plate. Insights on Sustainable Tourism and Travel Evolution:

The day progressed with two insightful seminars. Seminar 3 delved into sustainable tourism initiatives, shedding light on the impact of climate change on travel. This crucial discussion provided attendees with a deeper understanding of the industry’s responsibility in fostering sustainable practices.

Seminar 4 navigated the evolution of travel in East Africa. Emphasizing affordable flight rates for increased accessibility, seamless transport integration for a smooth travel experience, and breaking barriers to lower flight costs, the seminar underscored the importance of zoning East African markets. These discussions aimed to pave the way for a more connected and accessible travel landscape in the region.
