Go Places MKTE 2022 Fam Trip Day 5 – Experience Mombasa Town It was a wonderful trip to Mombasa with Go Places and Magical Kenya. On the last day which was Fam Trip Day 5 Tour of Mombasa. Before we headed back home, we had a trip to Mombasa town to appreciate the cultural and historical sites. We visited various places such as Old Town, Fort Jesus, The Mama Ngina Drive, and Mombasa Tusks among other historical places. This is a brief of Old Town. Mombasa Old Town is part of the Tentative list of Kenya’s order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List. It was the main center of trade between Africa and the Arab world and at some point was ruled by the Portuguese, British, and also the Arabs. It comprises buildings influenced by African, Arabic, and also European tastes. This was an unforgettable experience and I would recommend it to anyone planning to travel to Mombasa to try out these amazing places. Before we went home, we had to taste the amazing cuisine at Forodhani Restaurant. This place was one of the best in Mombasa. Forodani Restaurant is Located in the heart of Mombasa Old Town and is named after the old port of Mombasa. It attracts lots of tourists coming from all over the world. It is an appetizing location where you can dine in a variety of cuisines and enjoy views of Old and New Mombasa. I would highly recommend this Restaurant when traveling to Mombasa. It was now time to go home and we wished we stayed for longer but unfortunately we couldn’t. It was an unforgettable experience and we would go back there again and again.
