MAA Cultural Festival 2025, National Stakeholders Unite At Nairobi Serena For A Historic Planning

Building Bridges Through Culture, Stakeholders Strategize For MAA Festival 2025 At Nairobi Serena

On the crisp morning of August 18th, 2025, the elegant Nairobi Serena Hotel played host to a pivotal event — the National Stakeholders Meeting for the upcoming MAA Cultural Festival 2025. Hosted over an engaging breakfast session, this high-level gathering brought together key decision-makers, cultural custodians, and industry leaders to align efforts in preparation for one of the most anticipated cultural showcases in East Africa. The atmosphere was vibrant with purpose and pride as stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to celebrating and preserving Maa heritage through this landmark event.

In his keynote address, the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, His Excellency Hon. John Ooltuaa, emphasized the government’s unwavering support for cultural tourism, lauding the MAA Cultural Festival as a significant opportunity to promote Kenya’s unique indigenous identity on a global stage.

His sentiments were echoed by the Governor of Kajiado County, His Excellency Hon. Joseph Ole Lenku, who expressed his pride in hosting the upcoming festival at the breathtaking Amboseli National Park from November 4th to 9th, 2025. He highlighted the festival’s potential to economically empower local communities while offering an authentic cultural immersion for both domestic and international visitors.

Joining the dignitaries was the Governor of Narok County, His Excellency Hon. Patrick Ole Ntutu, who reaffirmed his county’s active participation and support in the regional collaboration through the MAA Economic Block. His Excellency Hon. Martin Mashisho, the Deputy Governor of Kajiado County, further emphasized the importance of inter-county unity in promoting shared cultural values. Their collective vision painted a powerful picture of regional integration, cultural preservation, and tourism growth — all anchored in the upcoming festival.

Also present were key representatives from the MAA Economic Block Secretariat, whose strategic insights into cross-county coordination and stakeholder engagement were instrumental in outlining a cohesive plan for the festival. The stakeholders meeting provided a platform to not only reflect on past successes but to innovate and strategize for an even more impactful 2025 edition. Attendees were treated to a curated visual presentation of the festival roadmap, igniting excitement and setting a clear trajectory for the months ahead.

Adding a strong media and promotional presence were Mr. Mansoor Jiwani, CEO of Go Places, and Ms. Nev Jiwani, Managing Director of Go Places. Their presence reinforced the importance of media in amplifying the festival’s reach and storytelling. Go Places Media, known for its expertise in tourism, culture, and lifestyle coverage, provided full event coverage, ensuring that the momentum from the stakeholders meeting would echo far beyond the walls of the Serena Hotel.

As the breakfast meeting came to a close, there was a shared sense of anticipation and purpose among all present. The MAA Cultural Festival 2025 is not just an event — it is a celebration of identity, unity, and opportunity. With the solid backing of national and county leadership, strategic partners, and visionary media partners like Go Places Media, the stage is set for an unforgettable cultural experience at Amboseli National Park this November. The journey has begun, and Kenya — along with the global community — is invited to witness the spirit of Maa in all its majestic glory.
