Inhale And Exhale At Lamu Yoga Festival From March 18th – 22nd 2019
Lamu Yoga festival will take place through the five days in three different locations of: Manda Island, Lamu Old Town and Shela Village.
The Lamu old town is one of the oldest settlements in Africa and has also been chosen as an UNESCO world heritage site. More than 25 renowned yoga teachers from all around the world, like:
- Salim Rollins,
- Kathy Gabriel,
- Alexandra Spyratos and others will join the program, offering program offering 150 yoga classes and meditation sessions.
The event will provide a chance for the yoga enthusiasts to meet up and interact with each other while enjoying the delights of the Swahili hospitality and cuisine.
The daily events will start from the morning and continue until night and will include sessions of yoga, pranayama and meditations along with special dune walks and dhow trips. A variety of yoga workshops and classes will be held for participants of all levels. The closing ceremony will be a colourful musical event to celebrate the universal message of yoga.
We have SUP Yoga (Paddleboard yoga) classes lined up for the festival.
This yoga style aids in finding core strength and body toning through balance and natural flow, with the elements of water, wind and sunshine.
