Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Best Improved Airport In Africa

Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) received the Award for the Most Improved Airport Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Africa during the ACI-ASQ Awards ceremony held on the side-lines of the ACI Customer Excellence Summit 2018 in Halifax, Canada. JKIA Wins Best Improved Airport Award in Africa. JKIA emerged winner in the Best Improvement by Region-Africa Category in what is considered as the aviation industry’s most comprehensive passenger service-benchmarking program.

This came as a testament to the airport’s on-going commitment to service excellence. The Kenya Airports Authority, established in 1991 under KAA Act, Chapter 395 of the Laws of Kenya, provides facilitative infrastructure for aviation services between Kenya and the outside world. KAA is also upbeat about the direct flights between Kenya and the US expected in October this year, as they will boost passenger traffic in and out of JKIA.
