Thailand & Kenya Forge Ahead, Trade Partnerships Redefined
On July 18th, 2025, the halls of Trademark Hotel at Village Market came alive with the energy of cross-continental collaboration as the Thailand–Kenya Business Forum B2B 2025 unfolded in a vibrant display of innovation, enterprise, and cultural connection. Organized by the Royal Thai Embassy – Nairobi and DITP Thailand, the forum served as a significant milestone in strengthening Thailand’s growing trade presence in Africa, particularly within Kenya’s dynamic economy.
From the moment the doors opened, visitors and delegates were greeted by a diverse range of premium Thai products and services. Thai exhibitors showcased everything from culinary delights like noodles and coconut products to high-tech agricultural machinery, auto parts, construction hardware, and rubber gloves – highlighting the versatility and quality of Thailand’s export offerings. Renowned companies such as SPR, ACV, Solex, Thai Coconut, VFOODS, and Bosny captivated attendees with their innovative displays and demonstrations, drawing interest from Kenyan business leaders, distributors, and government officials.

The forum was officially opened with inspiring speeches by Mr. Ply Suwanna-aray, representing the Thai government’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties, and Dr. Manish Shah, a key figure in Kenya’s trade and development landscape. Their words echoed a shared vision of mutual growth, opportunity, and sustainable trade. With optimism in the air, the floor transitioned seamlessly into B2B meetings starting at 9:30 a.m., where partnerships began to take shape through focused networking and deal-making sessions.

Among the distinguished attendees was Mrs. Nev Jiwani, the Managing Director of Go Places™, a leading travel, lifestyle, and business media brand in Kenya and East Africa. Mrs. Nev Jiwani presence underscored the significance of the event within the region’s business community. Go Places™ was also on hand to cover the event in real time, capturing key moments and exclusive interviews that highlighted the collaborative spirit and the tangible business opportunities emerging from the forum.

In between formal sessions, the atmosphere remained lively with cultural exchanges, culinary tastings, and product demos that showcased Thailand’s attention to quality, heritage, and innovation. The forum wasn’t just a trade event – it was a celebration of cross-cultural potential, where Thai ingenuity met Kenyan ambition on common ground.

As the day drew to a close, the impact of the Thailand–Kenya Business Forum was unmistakable. New partnerships were born, market possibilities explored, and bridges built – not only between Thailand and Kenya but also between people, ideas, and futures. With Thailand’s trade mission making waves across Africa, this event marked another successful chapter in their journey toward global cooperation and inclusive economic growth.
