This collaboration is set to enhance the travel experience for passengers flying out of the USA, providing a smoother and more comfortable security screening process. Travellers enrolled in TSA PreCheck® can now breeze through airport security without the hassle of removing shoes, belts, light jackets, laptops, and 3-1-1 liquids from their bags. The 3-1-1 rule, allowing passengers to carry liquids, gels, and aerosols in travel-size containers (up to 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters) in a single quart-sized bag, ensures a quicker passage through dedicated TSA PreCheck® lanes.

The process is designed for enhanced comfort, permitting travellers to keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and leave their electronics and liquids in their bags. This efficient system not only saves time but also reduces the stress associated with airport security procedures.
Ethiopian Airlines now offers this expedited service to customers travelling from five key U.S. destinations: Atlanta, Chicago, Newark, New York, and Washington. U.S. citizens, U.S. Nationals, or lawful permanent residents can enroll in the TSA PreCheck® Application Program through one of TSA’s authorized enrollment providers.
