- When eating sushi the first step is to clean your hands, that’s why at Haru we provide you hot moist hand towels before you begin your dining experience. There are two ways to eat sushi, and yes both are perfectly acceptable, one is with chopsticks and the other by hand.
Note: for Sashimi use your chopsticks…
- Prepare your soy sauce by pouring some into your dipping bowl, and add small amounts of wasabi paste (Japanese Horseradish) until you reach your preferred level of spiciness
- Dip your Sushi or Sashimi piece into your soy & wasabi mix, and eat in one bite (two bites for larger pieces)
