A Blissful Celebration Of Self-Love, Community, And Nature
The sixth Kilifi Wellness Festival will be from Thursday 6th February to Sunday 9th February 2025. A joyous celebration of love before Valentine’s Day, it embraces love for others and love for self. It takes place at Salty’s Kitesurf Village on Kilifi’s stunning Bofa Beach and Three Degrees South Water-sports Centre on cliff-lined Kilifi Creek.
The festival welcomes all who love art, music, yoga, fitness, discussion, dance, laughter and the ocean.
The festival starts with a blissful sound bath beneath the trees, and finishes with a dreamy cacao ceremony at sunset. The many highlights include open mic, dance performance, moonrise dhow cruise and the beach party.
About the teachers:
The selection of professional teachers offers a plethora of movement styles, thought-provoking workshops and healing modalities to curate a deeply nourishing experience. Expect Vinyasa Flow, dawn meditation, aerial, circus arts, SUP yoga, Yin, breathwork, QiGong, zumba, art, laughter, salsa, spoken word, arm balances, permaculture, journalling and Tarot & Oracle Readings. Discussions include forgiveness, gender, the jewel is you, and health hacks.
About the Therapists:
Therapists in holisic fields are available for private sessions in secluded spaces around the festival grounds. These include sound healing, Chinese medicine, massage, bodywork, reiki, physiotherapy, acupuncture, iridology and energy healing.
About the Festival Market:
The tented market is the heart of the festival. It’s filled with inventive coastal creations, hand-crafted jewellery, healing crystals, sustainable fashion, skin care products, mental health books, organic henna painting, health drinks and more. It’s a place to hang out, meet new friends and relax between sessions.
About the Venue:
Where an imposing creek meets a white sand beach, Kilifi is perhaps the most spectacular of Kenya’s coastal towns. The cliffs that line the creek are topped with whitewashed coastal houses, palm trees and baobabs, the water beneath is dotted with dhows and yachts, the beach is gleaming white and the sea sparkles. Most of the festival takes place at Salty’s Kitesurf Village on stunning Bofa Beach; SUP sessions take place at 3Degrees South water-sports centre and the dhow cruise sails up lovely Kilifi Creek.
