Stakeholders Chart Bold Strategies Under The Theme “Together Towards Twofold Tourism Growth”
The Kenya Coast Tourism Association (KCTA) today concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Kenya Coast Tourism Convention at Travellers Beach Hotel, Mombasa, bringing together a wide range of tourism stakeholders under the theme “Together Towards Twofold Tourism Growth.”

The convention, which ran from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, provided an engaging platform for coastal tourism leaders, investors, service providers, and policymakers to discuss strategies for doubling growth, enhancing sustainability, and strengthening collaboration across the value chain. Key sessions highlighted marketing opportunities, infrastructure development, and the importance of community participation in shaping the region’s future as a world-class destination.

In the afternoon, from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM, KCTA hosted its exclusive AGM, where fully paid-up members reviewed the association’s progress, set new priorities, and reaffirmed their collective commitment to steering the sector forward.
The day’s discussions and outcomes underscored a renewed spirit of unity and collaboration, positioning KCTA as a strong driver of coastal tourism transformation. As the curtains fall on the 2025 convention, the message remains clear: the growth of Kenya’s coast lies in working together.
