Nairobi, Kenya – Go Places Digital Media was pleased to attend the announcement of the merger between CFAO Motors Kenya and DT Dobie on May 11, 2023. The event took place at the CFAO Motors Kenya headquarters and was attended by key stakeholders and members of the press.
The merger, which became effective on April 1, 2023, brings together two strong and well-established automotive companies in Kenya under one entity, CFAO Motors Kenya Limited. The move is part of CFAO’s internal business reorganization project aimed at streamlining and simplifying the structure of its mobility business in Kenya.
Speaking during the event, the Managing Director of CFAO Motors Kenya, Mr Arvinder Reel expressed his excitement about the merger and its potential to enhance the company’s automotive value proposition in the Kenyan market. “We now have the largest portfolio of mobility solutions across a wide segment of customers as well as the largest aftersales service network in the country,” he said.
The new entity has also expanded the local assembly offering by CFAO Motors Kenya, combining the assembly of various vehicles at Associated Vehicle Assembly (AVA) in Mombasa and Kenya Vehicle Manufacturers (KVM) at Thika, Kiambu County. CFAO Motors Kenya now has the largest dealer network in the country, with 36 branches, dealerships, and authorized service centres.
