Innovation, Creativity & Impact, Highlights From Kenya’s Premier Digital Media Festival 2025
The 9th edition of the Digital Media Festival and Awards Show 2025 came alive on December 12 in Nairobi, as Go Gaga Experiential hosted a night celebrating the nation’s brightest digital talent. Held at the scenic Tamarind Hotel Grounds along Lang’ata Road, the event combined sophistication with vibrant energy, placing innovation, creativity, and collaboration at the forefront of Kenya’s digital landscape.

From arrival to the final awards, the atmosphere was electric as agency leaders, content creators, publishers, brands, and innovators networked and shared insights. The awards recognized outstanding work across multiple categories including Agency, Content, Publisher, Digital, Youth, and Special Awards, showcasing both established leaders and emerging talent shaping the future of digital communication in Kenya.

A standout of the night was Tandem Network, sweeping the awards with the prestigious Agency of the Year honor alongside several other accolades. Their “Sky Fest” campaign, which empowered women and girls, earned Most Impactful Campaign of the Year, while their innovative approaches were also recognized in Media Innovation, Experiential Campaign, and Best Youth-Driven Campaign categories, cementing their position as digital trailblazers.

Individual achievements were celebrated with distinction. Bharat Tavares took home Creative Director of the Year, Robert Kizito earned Copy Writer of the Year, Kelvin Kaesa was named Art Director of the Year, Denis Kajura received Graphic Designer of the Year, Colin Asiimwe claimed Marketing Leader of the Year, and Dorothy Kirabo was awarded Strategist of the Year. GOtv was recognized as Brand of the Year for its exceptional digital engagement and compelling online presence.

Emerging talent shone brightly through the Youth and Young Creative Awards. Rising stars such as Michael Muraya, Allan Kioko, Neemo Mungai, Faith Mwangi, and Gichimu Ikuá were celebrated for their innovative contributions. Partnering with Eskimi, additional awards highlighted leading campaigns from brands like Diageo, Uber Eats, and KCB Group, showcasing the power of strategic, data-driven digital initiatives.

Beyond the accolades, the 2025 Digital Media Festival and Awards Show emphasized the critical role of creativity, storytelling, and strategic engagement in Kenya’s digital ecosystem.
