Thai SELECT Certification Celebrates Nairobi’s Finest Thai Culinary Destinations
In a momentous celebration of culinary authenticity and cultural diplomacy, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kenya, in collaboration with the Office of Commercial Affairs (OCA), officially presented the prestigious Thai SELECT certificates to five of Nairobi’s finest Thai restaurants. Held in the heart of the city, this ceremonial recognition honoured restaurants that have consistently delivered authentic Thai cuisine, meeting the high standards set by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce. The awarded establishments included: Herbs & Spices Thai Restaurant at Nairobi Serena Hotel, Thai Chi at Sarova Stanley, Bang Bang Thai Kitchen at Village Market, The Aviary Rooftop Cocktail Lounge at Dusit Princess Hotel, and Thai Chi 102 on Manyani Road, Lavington.
The Thai SELECT certification is not simply a stamp of approval — it is a global symbol of excellence in Thai gastronomy.
