EXHIBITION OF SIGNED PRINTS At NAIROBI GALLERY DECEMBER 16 – MARCH 15 2019
African Twilight will take over the entire ground floor public areas of the Nairobi Serena Hotel during the period 25th – 28th February 2019.
We shall have auctions to benefit starving, stranded artists, whose works show at Nairobi Gallery, a raffle and sale of African Twilight books, art exhibitions and textiles, with the control centre within the Bambara lounge (where the late artist Expedito has l7 works on permanent display and we shall have two of his magnificent works in wood for auction).
There will be AFRICAN TWILIGHT drinks, cocktails and menus. Papillon will perform in the Axum Bar. Models will circulate selling tickets and giving out flyers. There will be a final AFRICAN TWILIGHT HAPPY HOUR on FEB 28 and we hope you will all attend. Papillon will continue performing at the Hotel Intercontinental every Tuesday evening and at Carnivore on Sundays. The Nigerian Festival of 40 artworks continues at the Hotel Intercontinental as part of African Twilight festivities, with the phenomenal Nigerian artist, Nike Seven Seven Okundaye arriving to preside over African Twilight with us.
GALA NIGHT OF THE CENTURY AFRICAN HERITAGE HOUSE MARCH 3, 2019, 2:30pm DEPARTURE RAILWAY MUSEUM
- The trip from the Railway Museum to the African Heritage House will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes;
- Once you get to the African Heritage House, you will be treated to a spectacular carnival of African cuisine, music, couture and dance;
- You can send the ticket cash directly to 0722-734897 of which the name Tom B. Otieno will appear;
- The dress code is Formal, African or Safari;
- In the event you opt to drive to the African Heritage House and skip the train trip, there will be ample parking at the African Heritage House while the charges remain the same;
- Secure parking will be available at the Kenya Railways parking too for those taking the train;
- A fee of Ksh. 200 will be incurred while accessing the Railway Museum
