Vision and Style being their driving words, EYERIS is committed to setting a standard of excellence. The practice prides itself with the latest advances in eye health care practices having an array of the most up-to-date vision care technology.
Some of the services and products include routine eye examinations for persons of all ages; thorough retinal examination using advanced technology; dispensing of spectacles by professionals who will advise you on the choice of the frame with comfort and cosmesis in mind; designer and budget eyewear; contact lens fitting, including specialized lenses for astigmatism and keratoconus and low visual aids.
Eyeris prides itself on being the only practice in Nairobi that offers the Irlen Method for problems in reading, learning, attention, headaches & light sensitivity. The Irlen Method corrects a unique perceptual processing problem, usually inherited, which can affect achievement, learning, and performance. This problem is eliminated using coloured overlays and Irlen Spectral Filters worn as spectacles.
The incidence of myopia is expected to increase significantly as lifestyles change (estimated 5 billion people or half of the global population by 2050!) with children taking part in more near-work activities and spending less time outdoors. At Eyeris, they have taken all the necessary steps to slow down the progression of myopia by offering choices in myopia management using low-dose atropine eye drops and MiYOSMART spectacle lenses.
EYERIS, the optometrists and contact lens practitioners of choice, also boasts an exclusive paediatrics section that carries a wide range of children’s eye care products. The optometrists have also undergone training to recognize dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
Not only does EYERIS dispense leading international brands of frames and sunglasses, but also offers a wide choice of accessories to complement them. They also have the best prescription sports performance eyewear, magnifiers, ready-made reading glasses, and clip-on. Some of its products are:-

Meet The Team
Faiza Darwesh (Optometrist & Contact Lens Practitioner)
Faiza attained her Bsc (Hons) in Optometry from The City University in London in 1991. She practised in the UK for 5 years, which includes having worked at the renowned Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. Over the years, she has created a name for herself in the optical field. Lifelong learning is one of the ethos of the practice. Faiza trained in the Irlen Method to enable the screening for Irlen Syndrome and Visual Stress. The ability to identify and manage Irlen Syndrome allows them to offer their clientele access to maximum healing and learning potential. Irlen Syndrome is often a barrier that prevents other interventions, remediation, and learning programs from being fully effective. She is also a Certified practitioner in Myopia Management using HOYA Lens UK MiYOSMART spectacle lenses and low-dose atropine eyedrops. Faiza always had her vision set to offer the highest standards in eye care. EYERIS is that reality.
