The camp consists of three self-contained tents and three cottages, offering guests a total of 12 beds. All the tents and cottages are designed to provide guests with a serene and comfortable stay, while also allowing them to feel one with nature. The camp is powered by solar energy, ensuring that the environmental footprint is minimal.
The proximity of Lion’s Cave Camp to Samburu, Buffalo Springs, and Shaba National Reserves provides guests with unparalleled game and scenic safari opportunities. The reserves are home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Samburu Special Five, which consists of Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich.
In addition to game drives, Lion’s Cave Camp offers guided nature walks, rock and mountain climbing, cultural experiences, and visits to nearby conservation areas such as the Sera Community Rhino Sanctuary and the Reteti Elephant Orphanage.
